봉상으로 압연 또는 단조된 강재로서 규정된 재료를 냉간압연, 냉간인발, 연삭, 절삭 또는 이를 조합하여 제조하고 필요에 따라 열처리, 산세 등을 실시한 후 소정의 길이로 절단된 강재를 말하며 단면모양에 따라 원형(Round Bar), 사각형(Squre Bar), 육각형(Hexagonal Bar)등 특수한 모양을 가진 이형봉강 등으로 구분할 수 있습니다.
